Rai under the PDL
* Sperimentare “format di approfondimento giornalistico innovativi che prevedano anche la presenza in studio di due conduttori di diversa estrazione culturale“; e la domanda nasce spontanea: l’idea di un giornalismo obiettivo in Italia non si prende proprio più in considerazione, eh? E ci sembra davvero grave, una vera e propria sconfitta per l’onestà intellettuale, che non viene proprio più contemplata come principio base di una convivenza civile.
* E ancora: “Qualora non si opti per una doppia conduzione, bisognerà garantire, laddove il format della trasmissione preveda l’intervento di un opinionista a sostegno di una tesi, uno spazio adeguato anche alla rappresentazione di altre sensibilità culturali“. “E ciò è ancor più necessario per quelle trasmissioni che, apparentemente di satira o di varietà, diventano poi occasione to discuss current issues and social policy, without the protections provided to news broadcasts more properly "
* back to the driver, he is always responsible for the reliability and quality of sources and news, raising the Rai from civil liability and or criminal. " In addition, "must not only be impartial but also show that in substance, by softening the transmission to ensure fairness in the distribution to the guests of the times and the absolute impartiality of the editorial line of the program." It must also "ensure, no later than the first sequel, the exercise of the right of reply for the benefit of any individual has been the recipient of information contrary to the truth or otherwise harming and had no chance to defend himself. " And you hear the echo of the controversy between Maroni and Come Away with Me
* And we are one of the first gems, where it is not difficult to discern a clear attempt to permanently out of Michele Santoro (beyond the decisions of the judiciary that not have 'permission to innovate Rai', as he said some time ago, Masi dg): "The management can not be entrusted to anyone who has broken the journalistic profession to take on political roles," as Santoro, a former MEP for the DS.
* It reiterates In addition, the 'ban' to represent the intercepts to mo 'of docu, how does Annozero;
* and here we are pure genius, "to ensure the originality of the schedules, the prevalent themes, current affairs, politics or news, treaties a program must not be subject to further development of other programs, including other networks, at least over the eight days following their broadcast!. That is, if Monday goes by Bruno Vespa Berlusconi to talk about Ruby, and Ballarò Annozero (and The Last Word et al) can not deal with it. This should also apply for the record, it wrote: ergo, if one takes care of Morning Sarah Scazzi no broadcast TV can do it for a week? We find it difficult to believe ... a proposal really absurd!
* And again: "To allow freedom of thought, we must carefully filter out e-mails and text messages." Luckily, it was necessary to protect the freedom of thought!
All indications are inspired, according to Butterfield, the necessity that "all parties in Parliament must be in proportion to their consent, adequate facilities in-depth broadcast journalism" and the awareness that "failure to fulfill the 'proportional allocation of television space is a violation of democratic principle. " Which, translated, means that political parties should have an area proportional to their electoral support ... "The observance of this provision is entrusted to the common sense of the conductors and directors of the network or tested - still - because the public service broadcaster should represent the real country, not the cultural elite or the so-called powers that be. " There seems to notice another slight contradiction: everyone must have space, but the winner of more ... the very basis of democracy! But where are we getting there?
